Following SSU investigation, another two enemy informants convicted for helping enemy bomb Kramatorsk

Based on evidence collected by the Security Service of Ukraine, another two enemy spotters, who operated in Donetsk oblast, have received prison sentences.

The investigation established that the perpetrators – two women – guided russia’s air strikes on Kramatorsk district.

The SSU detained them in January and June this year.

One of the spotters is a 44-year-old saleswoman from Sloviansk, who leaked the geolocations of Ukrainian defence strongholds and artillery positions to the russians.

To find out the coordinates of Ukrainian troops, she subtly asked visitors to the store for information and then went out to reconnoitre potential targets.

The traitor posted the information she gathered on a specialised Telegram channel administered by the russian intelligence services.

Another convicted enemy accomplice is a 41-year-old unemployed resident of Kramatorsk, who collected intelligence on the routes, schedule, and number of Defence Forces armoured convoys heading to the front line.

After her reconnaissance trips, she passed the information by phone to her acquaintance, who lives in russia and works for the enemy.

Smartphones used for coordinating activities with the occupiers were seized from the suspects during the searches.

Based on the SSU’s investigation, the accused were found guilty under Article 114-2.2 of the CCU (unauthorised dissemination of information about the transfer, movement of weapons, movement or deployment of the AFU, committed under martial law).

Given their cooperation with the investigation, the court sentenced one of the perpetrators to five years in prison and the other to five and a half years in prison.

The investigation was carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
