Following SSU investigation, FSB agent network’s third member sentenced to 15 years in prison for guiding russian glide bombs at Kharkiv’s defensive lines

Based on evidence collected by the Security Service, another member of the FSB agent network, which the SSU dismantled in September 2024, has been convicted to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

At that time, the SSU detained three enemy agents who adjusted air strikes on Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv. In the spring and summer of this year, two of them have been sentenced to prison terms.

Now, the last member of the cell has been sentenced to prison. He is a 43-year-old Kharkiv resident recruited by russia’s federal security service. Following their instructions, he spied on the construction of defensive lines near the frontline city.

To do this, the man joined one of the construction crews working on fortifications.

Under the cover of a construction worker, the agent had access to the coordinates and sent them to his FSB handler.

The aggressor state then used the intelligence to prepare strikes on the defensive structures with guided aerial bombs.

During the air attack, the traitor was to receive a signal from his handler to leave the potential strike zone.

The agent also established contacts with local residents to covertly obtain information about the locations of UAV operator training centres.

The SSU apprehended the enemy accomplice red-handed while he was conducting reconnaissance near a defence installation.

Based on the evidence, the court found the accused guilty under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).

The investigation was carried out by the SSU Office in Kyiv and Kyiv region under the procedural supervision of Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office.
