Following SSU investigation, another traitor who guided russian glide bombs at Sloviansk sentenced to 15 years in prison
Based on evidence collected by the Security Service of Ukraine, an enemy agent, detained in June 2025 in Donetsk region, has been convicted to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property. She guided russian airstrikes on Sloviansk.
As the investigation established, the targeting of enemy fire was carried out by a saleswoman from a local shop who had been recruited by russia’s military intelligence, better known as the GRU.
The woman came to the GRU’s attention due to her pro-kremlin comments on social media.
After agreeing to cooperate with the occupiers, she began collecting coordinates for new waves of russian attacks on the city with guided aerial bombs.
One of her tasks was to identify locations with high concentrations of Ukrainian military personnel and equipment in the frontline community.
The traitor also attempted to identify and pass to the GRU the locations of logistics depots containing weapons and ammunition of the Defence Forces.
The enemy asset also covertly elicited information from visitors to the shop and then conducted further reconnaissance on the ground.
She compiled the gathered data into an intelligence report with marks of ‘targets’ on Google Maps.
The agent transmitted intelligence to the occupiers via a ‘liaison’ – a militant of russian armed groupings – with whom she communicated through the banned social network Odnoklassniki.
A smartphone containing evidence of her communications via a messaging app with the military intelligence of the aggressor state was seized during the search.
Based on the evidence, the court found the accused guilty under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).
The investigation was carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
