Last week, the SSU continued its systematic campaign to undermine the russian federation’s military and economic capabilities, as approved by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. SSU operatives carried out successful strikes against tankers, strategic aviation, and military and fuel-and-energy facilities belonging to the aggressor state.

The targets included, in particular:

russian federation’s strategic aviation

•        Engels Military Airfield (Saratov region) – SSU long-range drones flew approximately 800 km and destroyed a Tu-95MS strategic bomber regularly used to carry out massive missile strikes against Ukraine. The aircraft sustained critical damage, with its entire tail section completely severed.

russia’s shadow fleet

•        The Louise 1 tanker –SSU’s Mamai maritime drones struck the sanctioned tanker, which was transporting russian oil in circumvention of international sanctions. In 2026 alone, the vessel transported nearly 3 million tons of Urals oil.
•        The Banda tanker – a shadow fleet tanker that was transporting russian oil from the ports of Ust-Luga, Kerch, Novorossiysk, and Nakhodka. During the attack, russian aircraft attempted to destroy the SSU’s maritime drones, but failed.
•        The Avero tanker - another sanctioned vessel from the russian federation’s shadow fleet that transported oil to destinations including China and India.

All these vessels are large Suezmax-class ocean-going tankers used to transport significant volumes of oil and petroleum products.

Military infrastructure and equipment

•        Two Project 12150 Mangust patrol boats were destroyed in the Black Sea.
•        At the Bagherove airbase in the temporarily occupied Crimea, hangars containing military equipment and specialist gear were targeted.
•        Three fixed radar stations, used by russian forces to detect Ukrainian unmanned maritime systems and strike drones, were destroyed.
•        In the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk and Kherson regions, strikes targeted the deployment sites of strike UAV crews, and depots containing unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as temporary deployment sites for technical personnel from assembly workshops and maintenance facilities.
•        Depots containing rocket and artillery weapons in the temporarily occupied Crimea and Luhansk region, logistics depots, military transport depots, as well as repair bases for weapons and military equipment in the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia regions were struck.

Fuel and energy infrastructure

•        Oil depot in the town of Vyazniki (Stavropol Krai) – SSU long-range drones struck the tank farm at the oil depot, located 600 km from Ukraine’s state border.
•        The oil products transshipment complex at the Kavkaz port of – three tanks containing oil products were hit.
•        The Crimea ferry terminal (Kerch) – Vehicle ferries Yeysk and Maria, used to supply Russian military forces, were struck.

Logistics Infrastructure

•        Kavkaz Port – vehicle ferries Lavrentiy and Panagia were hit.
•        Kavkaz Freight Railway Station – a freight train loaded with fuel tankers was struck.
