The Security Service of Ukraine conducted a successful special operation, destroying a Tu-95 strategic bomber at the Engels military airfield in russia’s Saratov Oblast. Long-range SSU drones covered approximately 800 kilometres to reach the target.

According to preliminary information, the aircraft sustained critical damage- its tail section was completely torn off. This particular aircraft was systematically used to carry out massive missile strikes against Ukraine.

The special operation fulfilled tasks set by the President of Ukraine to reduce the military and economic potential of the aggressor state.

The SSU systematically destroys key elements of russia’s war machine. Every destroyed strategic bomber means dozens of missiles that will never be launched at Ukrainian cities, Ukrainian lives saved, and tens of millions of dollars in irreversible losses for the enemy. russia’s strategic aviation can no longer consider itself safe, even at its most remote military airfields.
