SSU detains another five ruscism agitators in several regions of Ukraine
The Security Service of Ukraine has collected evidence on another five pro-kremlin agitators who justified russia’s armed aggression, killing of civilians by ruscists, and seizure of Ukrainian territory.
In Kharkiv, an assistant engineer at the local branch of Ukrainian Railways was detained for calling on Telegram to kill Ukrainians and justifying russia’s crimes in Bucha and Irpin.
Two local propagandists were detained in Uzhhorod district, Zakarpattia. They were using their TikTok and Facebook pages to disseminate hostile propaganda and praise putin and russia’s full-scale war.
Another offender apprehended in Zakarpattia is a 46-year-old draft evader from Berehove. Hiding at home from mobilisation, he published anti-Ukrainian posts on TikTok, questioning Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
In Kherson, the SSU’s cyber units exposed a 35-year-old local parking lot security guard. On Telegram, he called for the seizure of Kherson by the aggressor state.
Linguistic examinations initiated by the SSU confirmed the facts of the agitators’ information and subversive activities against Ukraine.
The detainees have been notified of suspicion, in accordance with the crimes committed, under several Articles of the CCU:
- 110.1 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine);
- 436-2.2, 436-2.3 (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, glorification of its participants);
- 161.1 (incitement of national enmity and hatred).
The suspects face up to 8 years in prison with confiscation of property.
The operational and investigative activities were carried out by the SSU Offices in Kharkiv, Kherson, and Zakarpattia regions under the procedural supervision of regional Prosecutor’s Offices.
