SSU detains another four agitators of ruscism

The Security Service of Ukraine has detained another four kremlin supporters who justified russia’s armed aggression and war crimes.

During searches, smartphones containing evidence of subversive activities in favour of the aggressor state were seized from the perpetrators.

In Kyiv, SSU cyber units exposed a local entrepreneur who was agitating for the capture of the capital. He spread hostile propaganda in Telegram channel chats.

In addition to calls for the occupation of Kyiv, the man denied the mass killings of civilians by ruscists in Bucha.

In Zhytomyr region, a local resident has been declared suspect. He used messenger chats to spread fake news about the Defence Forces and the situation at the front. It was also documented how he called on Ukrainians to seize state power in Ukraine.

In Odesa, two more enemy propagandists were apprehended. One of them was a phthisiatrician at a local tuberculosis dispensary who praised the crimes of the kremlin regime among her colleagues.

A local resident who imposed pro-moscow propaganda on his acquaintances was also uncovered in the city.

Linguistic examinations initiated by the Security Service confirmed the facts of the suspects’ illegal activities for the benefit of the aggressor state.

The perpetrators have been notified of suspicion under the Articles of the CCU:

  • 109.3 (actions aimed at forceful change or overthrow of the constitutional order or seizure of state power);
  • 110.1 (encroachment on Ukraine’s territorial integrity and inviolability);
  • parts 1 and 3 of Article 436-2 (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).

The suspects face up to 8 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The operations were carried out by the SSU Offices in Kyiv and Kyiv regions, Zhytomyr, and Odesa regions under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutors’ Offices.
