SSU detains FSB agent who guided aerial bombs at positions of AFU and National Police assault unit in Donetsk oblast
The Security Service of Ukraine has detained another enemy agent in Donetsk region. On orders from russia’s federal security service, he adjusted russian missile, bomb and drone attacks on Kramatorsk and its adjacent areas.
Using the coordinates provided by him, the occupiers hoped to strike reserve command posts and logistics depots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Police’s Lyut assault brigade on the eastern front.
To scout out targets, the FSB recruited a 52-year-old local unemployed man. He came to their attention when he posted pro-kremlin comments on Telegram channels.
To carry out enemy tasks, the agent walked around the community and marked on Google Maps the objects with large concentrations of personnel and military equipment.
He also recorded the addresses of buildings and closed areas where, in his opinion, weapons, ammunition and equipment of the Ukrainian troops could be stored.
The SSU uncovered the enemy accomplice at an early stage and took action to protect the locations of the Defence Forces.
At the final stage of the special operation, the traitor was detained. A mobile phone with evidence of working for the enemy was seized from him during the search.
SSU investigators have notified the detainee of suspicion under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).
The perpetrator is in custody and faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
The operation was carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
