SSU serves notice of suspicion in absentia to Ivan Okhlobystin who from moscow stage called to kill Ukrainians

The Security Service of Ukraine has collected evidence against russian propagandist actor Ivan Okhlobystin, who is campaigning for russia’s war against Ukraine.

According to the investigation, he headlined a concert rally on red square in moscow in September 2022, which took place on the occasion of the fake accession of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine to russia.

Then Okhlobystin called from the stage for the continuation of russia’s armed aggression, killing Ukrainians and seizing new regions of our country.

The SSU documented his other speeches, where he agitated for the spread of the kremlin regime throughout Ukraine.

For Okhlobystin’s public support of ruscism, in particular war crimes of the russian military, the kremlin regularly recognizes him with various awards as an ideological propagandist.

The SSU-initiated linguistic examination confirmed the perpetrator’s subversive activity against Ukraine.

Based on the evidence, SSU investigators notified Okhlobystin of suspicion in absentia under the Articles of the CCU:

  • 110.3 (encroachment on Ukraine’s territorial integrity and inviolability);
  • 436 (propaganda of war);
  • 436-2.3 (justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).

As the propagandist is hiding in russia, efforts are underway to bring him to justice for crimes against Ukraine.

The investigation was carried out under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
