SSU exposes another three enemy ‘Internet agents’, one of them calling for Oreshnik strike on Kyiv

The Security Service of Ukraine has detained a further three pro-kremlin agitators in different parts of Ukraine. The perpetrators supported russia’s armed aggression, glorified ruscists, and called them to bomb Ukrainian cities.

In the Kharkiv region, an unemployed local woman was exposed for inciting violence in social media chat rooms, calling for a strike with Oreshnik ballistic missile on the government quarter in Kyiv.

By doing so, she was effectively suggesting that the russians should eliminate Ukraine’s top military and political leadership.

Another supporter of ruscism has been notified of suspicion in Kyiv. The man posted supportive comments under anti-Ukrainian posts on social media.

To conceal his subversive activities, he used three anonymous accounts under various nicknames.

The agitator called for the seizure of Ukraine’s entire territory, glorified russian armed groups, and justified their crimes against Ukraine’s civilian population.

In the Cherkasy region, the deputy head of the national reserve in Kaniv was exposed for disseminating kremlin disinformation regarding the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the operational situation on the front line.

She also justified russia’s full-scale aggression against Ukraine and called for support for russian armed groupings.

A forensic linguistic examination, initiated by the Security Service, confirmed the facts of the perpetrators’ subversive activities in the interests of the enemy.

They have now been notified of suspicion against them under several Articles of the CCU:

  • 109.2, 109.3 (distribution of materials calling for the seizure of state power, committed repeatedly);
  • 110.2, 110.1 (encroachment upon the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine);
  • 436-2.2, 436-2.3 (justifying, recognising as lawful or denying russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine and glorifying its participants).

The suspects face up to 10 years’ imprisonment and confiscation of property.

The operations were carried out by the SSU Department for the Protection of National Statehood, as well as by SSU investigators in the Kharkiv and Cherkasy regions, under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Offices.
