SSU exposes four more russian internet agitators who justified war crimes and called for capture of Ukraine

The SSU has exposed four more pro-Kremlin internet agitators who justified russia's armed aggression against Ukraine and spread fake news about the Defense Forces.

In Chernihiv, a 53-year-old repeat offender was detained who had previously served a prison sentence for calling for changes to Ukraine's state borders.

After his release from prison in 2024, he continued to spread anti-Ukrainian propaganda. To this end, the traitor created a group on the Odnoklassniki social network, where he glorified ruscists.

Another suspect was detained in Poltava. She is a private psychologist who, during online consultations with patients, justified russia’s war crimes and tried to discredit the Defense Forces.

In Kharkiv, the SSU Military Counterintelligence exposed a 23-year-old local resident who supported the temporary occupation of Crimea on Telegram channels and Instagram and spread fake news about the Azovstal defenders.

In Zakarpattia, an enemy agitator from Mukachevo district was detained who, on his Facebook page, called on russia to seize the western region of Ukraine.

Linguistic examinations initiated by the SSU confirmed the facts of subversive activities by the suspects in the interests of the aggressor country.

The traitors have been notified of suspicion under several Articles of the CCU:

  • 110.1 (encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine);
  • 111-2 .1(aiding an aggressor state);
  • 436-2.1, 436-2.3 (justifying, recognizing as lawful, denying the armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine, glorifying its participants).

The offenders are in custody and face up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The operations were carried out under the procedural supervision of Kharkiv, Poltava, Chernihiv and Zakarpattia Region Prosecutor’s Office.
