SSU uncovers another four FSB accomplices who carried out sabotage on railways

The Security Service of Ukraine has detained four enemy agents who, on russia’s orders, set fire to railway infrastructure facilities in several regions of Ukraine.

The perpetrators came to the attention of russia’s federal security service when they were looking for easy money on Telegram channels.

However, instead of money from the aggressor, each of the agents received a suspicion notice from Ukrainian law enforcement agencies and the prospect of imprisonment.

In Cherkasy region, three teenagers aged 13, 14, and 16 from the city of Smila were caught red-handed after they burned relay cabinets on local Ukrzaliznytsia railway tracks following instructions from the FSB.

The investigation established that these were test tasks for the minors before carrying out the next one: manufacturing an improvised explosive device for a terrorist attack.

The investigation established that the enemy also tested the young men by instructing them to paint provocative graffiti on the walls of administrative buildings in the central region.

A 36-year-old citizen of a neighboring European country was detained in Kyiv for carrying out orders from russian special services.

On the instructions of the occupiers, the foreigner set fire to two cabinets of entrance traffic lights that ensure smooth movement of trains in Kyiv region.

Based on the evidence, SSU investigators notified three detainees of suspicion, according to the offences committed, under Articles 28.3 and 113.2 of the CCU (sabotage, committed by a group, upon prior conspiracy under martial law).

The suspects are in custody. The decision to bring the 13-year-old perpetrator from Cherkasy region to justice is pending.

The operations were carried out by the SSU Offices in Kyiv and Kyiv region and in Cherkasy region under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor's Offices.

The Security Service reminds you that if you or your friends are being recruited by enemy special services, please report this to the SSU chatbot Burn the FSB-man.
