SSU identifies two russian commanders who ordered execution of civilians in Kyiv region
The SSU has identified two more commanders of the russian army who ordered brutal torture and execution of five civilians in Kyiv region.
These are the battalion commander major Maksim Krasnoshchokov and the company deputy commander major Aleksandr Vasiliev.
They commanded the enemy motorized infantry units during the temporary occupation of Peremoha village in Kyiv region.
The SSU investigators established that the invaders forcibly detained local residents, kept them in custody and tortured them.
Both commanders personally interrogated Ukrainians trying to obtain information about the units of Ukrainian Armed Forces, law enforcement officers and members of Territorial Defence.
In the end, they ordered their subordinates to shoot their captives with machine guns right at the site where they were tortured and to blow up the building with the corpses to cover up the war crime.
Majors Krasnoshchokov and Vasyliyev, servicemen of the 15th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 2nd Guards Combined Army of russia’s Central Military District, have now been declared suspects under Article 438.1 and 438.2 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the CCU.
