SSU strikes key russian fuel pumping station supplying moscow region with fuel
In accordance with instructions from the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the SSU Alfa Special Operations Centre carried out an attack on the Vtorovo Linear Production and Dispatch Station in the Vladimir region of russia.
This station plays a pivotal role in the main petroleum product pipeline system, transporting raw materials, primarily diesel fuel, from oil refineries in central russia to export ports and domestic consumers. It also supplies fuel to major oil depots in the moscow area and to the Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Vnukovo airports.
Following the Alfa’s successful drone attack, a massive 800 m² fire broke out at the facility.
In contrast to the enemy, which deliberately targets civilian infrastructure and civilians, Ukraine delivers precision strikes exclusively against military and strategic targets linked to sustaining russian aggression. The Security Service continues to carry out the President of Ukraine’s directives systematically in order to degrade russia’s military and economic capabilities, which are used to wage war against our state.
‘The Security Service is already preparing new special operations. The intensity of Ukraine’s strikes on russian territory will only increase. Our long-range sanctions will continue to be effective,’ stated Yevheniy Khmara, Acting Head of the Security Service of Ukraine.
