SSU strikes two russian oil refineries in Bashkortostan and oil depot in Krasnodar Krai, russia
In line with instructions from the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the SSU Special Operations Centre Alfa successfully struck the production facilities of the Bashneft oil refinery group in Ufa, republic of Bashkortostan, russia. These targets are located 1,500 kilometres from Ukraine’s state border.
Ukrainian drones struck the production facilities of the Bashneft-Novoyl and Bashneft-Ufanaftokhim oil refineries. These refineries are key components of russia’s fuel and energy complex. Fires broke out at these facilities following the explosions. Available media footage confirms at least two separate fires. The oil processing units of the plants – the heart of the refineries that carry out primary oil refining – are ablaze.
Last night, SSU drones also struck the Poltavska oil depot in the Krasnodar krai, russia. This large complex is used for the reception, storage and dispatch of diesel fuel and petrol. Its tank farm comprises 28 storage tanks.
The Security Service is continuing its systematic efforts to weaken russia’s economic and military-industrial potential. Today’s precision strikes by SSU drones have once again demonstrated that the enemy has no secure rear, even 1,500 kilometres from the Ukrainian border. Each successfully targeted oil refining and fuel logistics infrastructure increases the economic cost of the war for the aggressor state. Operations to strike the enemy strategic targets will continue.
