SSU and National Police detain chief of occupation ‘employment center’ of ‘donetsk people’s republic’

The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police have detained another collaborator in Donetsk region. She was the head of the ‘press center’ of the occupation ‘employment center’ of ‘donetsk people’s republic’.

The woman was detained in the frontline town of Druzhkivka, where she had come from the temporarily occupied territory to visit relatives.

As the investigation established, the perpetrator is a 54-year-old resident of Donetsk who began working for the enemy during the occupation of the city.

At the beginning of the full-scale war, the russians appointed her to a leadership position in the ranks of their occupation administration.

Heading the so-called ‘media sector of the DPR employment center’, the collaborator prepared speeches for local gauleiters and their supervisors from russia.

She also compiled materials for the occupation media in Donetsk and organized mass propaganda events in the city in support of the kremlin regime.

The collaborator regularly appeared on live broadcasts of local TV channels and called on residents of the region to join russia’s pseudo-institutions.

Based on the evidence, Security Service investigators notified the detainee of suspicion under Article 111-1.6 of the CCU (collaboration).

The suspect is in custody and faces up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The operational and investigative activities were carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
