SSU and National Police award another four teenagers for thwarting FSB’s attempts to recruit them for terrorist attacks and sabotage

The Security Service and the National Police of Ukraine have honoured four teenagers from Dnipropetrovsk and Cherkasy regions who refused to collaborate with the FSB and informed the law enforcement agencies.

The young men and a girl were awarded as part of the nationwide information campaign Burn the FSB-man. In May this year, the SSU already commended two teenagers from Kryvyi Rih, whom the occupiers had tried and failed to recruit for sabotage.

This time, the occupiers tried to recruit a 16-year-old resident of the frontline town of Synelnykove in Dnipropetrovsk region.

Contacting him via social media, the FSB promised quick money in exchange for setting fire to mobile communication towers and a Defence Forces logistics depot.

To carry out the crime, the occupiers sent the minor detailed instructions on how to make and use flammable mixtures. Despite psychological pressure from the occupiers, the young man did not agree to their ‘proposals’ and immediately contacted law enforcement.

Three students from Cherkasy schools also reported recruitment attempts. Again, the russian intelligence services used social networks to persuade schoolchildren to carry out sabotage.

Thanks to the teenagers’ information, the law enforcement agencies not only prevented serious crimes, but also identified the russian perpetrators, disrupting their subversive activities.

The Security Service of Ukraine once again calls on citizens and their minor children to be vigilant and, if they identify any signs of enemy influence, to report it immediately:

Defend Ukraine together!
