The SSU is conducting counterintelligence (security) measures in Desnianskyi district of Kyiv, in particular in Lesovyi residential area and adjacent territories.

The SSU is carrying out these activities jointly with the National Police, the AFU Military Law Enforcement Service and the National Guard.

The purpose is to strengthen counter-sabotage protection of critical infrastructure facilities and increase security of citizens in connection with russia’s armed aggression.

The measures are held in compliance with the legal regime of martial law.

Passage for individuals and vehicles can be restricted, IDs can be checked, vehicles - inspected.

The law enforcement officers will also inspect public areas and premises to identify prohibited items.

The SSU apologizes for possible inconveniences and is kindly asking to respond appropriately to lawful actions and requests of law enforcement officers, to carry identification documents and observe the curfew.

We emphasize that in its activity the SSU adheres to the principle of legality and constitutional inviolability of citizens’ rights and freedoms.
