SSU releases unique footage of special operation ‘Spider Web’ hitting 41 russian strategic aircraft (video)

The Security Service of Ukraine has released some of the most striking videos of hitting russian strategic aircraft. As a result of the special operation Spider Web, which was personally supervised by President Volodymyr Zelenskyi and carried out by the SSU Head Vasyl Maliuk and the SSU team, 41 russian aircraft were hit.

Most of them were destroyed beyond repair, and some of the damaged aircraft will take years to rebuild.

In particular, the footage shows SSU’s FPV drones striking four enemy airfields: Olenya, Ivanovo, Dyagilevo and Belaya. These are bases of the aggressor’s strategic aviation, which regularly strikes peaceful Ukrainian cities. Among the aircraft hit are A-50, Tu-95, Tu-22, Tu-160, as well as An-12 and Il-78.

The total losses of the enemy’s aviation amount to 41 units.

During the operation, modern UAV control technology was used, combining autonomous artificial intelligence algorithms and manual operator intervention.

Some of the UAVs switched to a pre-planned route using AI after losing signal. Upon approaching and making contact with a specific target, the warhead was activated automatically.

The estimated cost of the equipment destroyed as a result of the SSU’s special operation exceeds USD 7 billion.
