Case of minor agent who guided enemy strikes on Kramatorsk passed to court
The Security Service of Ukraine has completed its pre-trial investigation and referred the indictment against a 16-year-old enemy agent, detained in the Donetsk region in January this year, to court. Acting on orders from the ruscists, the perpetrator adjusted shelling on Kramatorsk.
The investigation established that the russian intelligence recruited the minor via Telegram channels for dating.
Following instructions from the aggressor, the girl tracked and photographed locations with high concentration of Defence Forces personnel and equipment, which the enemy targeted with guided aerial bombs.
It has been documented how she attempted to photograph and mark the locations of Ukrainian air defence units on Google Maps.
The SSU apprehended the agent at her home, where she had returned to prepare a report for her handler in russia. His identity has been established by the SSU.
While her crimes were being documented, action was taken to secure the locations of the Defence Forces.
A smartphone, which the agent had used to spy on Ukrainian troops and coordinate her actions with the russians was seized during the search.
Based on the SSU’s investigation, the suspect is charged under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).
As the accused is a minor, she faces up to 15 years’ imprisonment with confiscation of property.
The operational and investigative actions were carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
