SSU identifies new chiefs in occupation ‘russian ministry of interior’ in Kherson region
The SSU together with the SBI have identified another five collaborators who joined the ‘main directorate of russia’s ministry of interior in Kherson region’ established by the aggressor.
This pseudo-entity is fulfilling moscow’s instructions to spread the kremlin’s regime and suppress resistance in the temporarily occupied part of the oblast.
Within the occupation authority, the collaborators were appointed to lead the so-called ‘Hola Prystan police department’.
Serving there, these ‘officials’ have been involved in mass repressions against locals.
Facts of illegal persecution and abduction of people, looting their personal property under the guise of ‘preventive cleansing’ have been recorded.
During operational and investigative activities, the SSU collected all identifying data on each collaborator, documented their criminal activity and established their location.
Following the investigation, the SSU notified these individuals of suspicion under the Article 111-1.7 of the CCU (voluntary occupation of positions in unlawful law enforcement agencies established in the temporarily occupied territory):
- S.O. Buzukin, chief of ‘Hola Prystan police department’;
- V.L. Tselorungov, deputy chief of ‘Hola Prystan police department’;
- M.Yu. Voronov – chief of criminal investigation unit;
- A.V. Norchenko – chief of unit in the road patrol service;
- M.I. Kolesnichenko - an employee of the criminal investigation unit.
All of them are local residents who, after the start of the full-scale invasion, supported russian invaders and offered them their assistance in the war against Ukraine.
The SSU is acting to bring the collaborators to justice for crimes against Ukraine.
The SSU emphasizes the inevitability of punishment for collaboration with the enemy.
The SSU Office in Kirovohrad Region conducted the investigation jointly with the State Bureau of Investigations under the supervision of Kirovohrad Region Prosecutor’s Office.
