The Coordination Group of the Anti-Terrorist Center at the SBU Office in Vinnytsia region conducted large-scale anti-terrorist training exercises at several military facilities in Haisynskyi and Illinetskyi districts.

The units of the SBU, the National Police, the National Guard, the State Emergency Service the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the representatives of state authorities and local self-government participated in near-real conditions trainings.

During exercises, the subjects of the fight against terrorism worked out a set of measures for the detection and neutralization of conditional sabotage and reconnaissance groups, which, according to the legend, planned to commit sabotage acts on the strategic military facilities. As a result, the law-enforcement officers found and defused models of several improvised explosive devices, the consequences of “saboteurs” subversive activity were detected and localized.

The Coordination Group thoroughly analysed each stage of the trainings, noting the high level of qualification and readiness of the participants to carry out tasks of preventing terrorist threats.
