Donetsk region: SBU materials help to serve notice of suspicion to two organizers of pseudo-referendum
The SBU materials helped to serve a notice of suspicion in committing a crime to two organisers of Donetsk pseudo-referendum.
The SBU operatives involved in the Joint Forces Operation established that the Village Mayor and Village Council Member of the Bakhmut district took an active part in organizing an illegal referendum in Myronivske and Novoluhansk villages. SBU staff also documented that the perpetrators actively conducted anti-Ukrainian agitation among district residents, in particular, appealing them to participate in so-called ‘expression of will’.
SBU Investigators finished a pre-trial investigation concerning the illegal activities of the village council member and sent to court an indictment on crime committing under Part 1 of Art. 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Against second detainee a custody was chosen as a measure of restraint.
