Odesa: SBU exposes anti-Ukrainian agitprop pro

SBU officers exposed an Odesa resident who distributed separatist materials through social networks.

Law enforcers found that the individual was promoting the “LNR/DNR” terrorist organizations on personal pages in social networks. Also, the offender distributed separatist media materials to promote ideas about illegal changes of the administrative-territorial system of our state.

In the course of authorized investigations at the offender’s residence, special service operatives discovered mobile gadgets with materials confirming his illegal activities.

SBU employees detained the individual according to Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

The offender was served a notice of suspicion in committing the crime envisaged by Art. 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine; the issue of choosing a measure of restraint in the form of detention is being decided.

Pre-trial investigation is under way.
