SBU prevents another episode of the RF hybrid aggression against Ukraine

SBU prevented another episode of the RF hybrid aggression against Ukraine. Intensions of foreign special service to use network from over ten Internet-sites for distribution among Ukrainians of Russian propaganda and destructive materials, containing separate calls for commitment of crimes, investigation of which is ranged to the responsibilities of state security bodies, were broken.

According to received data, a passport was stolen from the citizen of Ukraine in Voronezh railway station during his stay for working in Russia at the end of 2014. The given circumstance was capably used by the enemy special service officials. Nearly 10 Internet-sites were registered by means of passport stolen from guest worker. The country-aggressor has started to use this information resource as the element of hybrid war for destabilization of the situation in Ukraine.

The sites were blocked due to events taking by the SBU. The citizen of Ukraine rejected to work in the RF because of the threat of provocations of Russian special services.

Regarding owners and (or) administrators of groups in “VK” and “Odnoklassniki” social networks, disseminating calls for overthrow of constitutional order and government in the country, conducting of mass clashes and other illegal actions, during January-June 2017 the SBU registered 34 criminal proceedings, 27 persons are notified of suspicion and 27 verdicts of guilty are brought by the courts on the grounds of commitment crimes, stipulated by the Article 109 (actions aimed at forceful change or overthrow of constitutional order or take-over of government), the Article 110 (trespass against territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine) and the Article 258-3 (creation of terrorist group or terrorist organization) of the Criminal code of Ukraine.
