SBU announce concerning explosion in Consulate-general of the Republic of Poland in Lutsk
The explosion took place on the 4-th floor of administrative premise of the Consulate-general of the Republic of Poland in Lutsk in the night to March 29. According to preliminary data the reason of explosion is a firing from RPG-26 grenade launcher. There are no victims. The SBU and the police investigational groups are working on the scene of the crime. The investigation considers several options of the incident, including act of terrorism.
The SBU will use every effort for establishing and detaining of malefactors at short notice. The provocations against the Republic of Poland, which once in a while occur in Ukraine, are of benefit only to one party – the Russian Federation, its methods of operation can be seen from far off.
The SBU Head Vasyl Hrytsak has also informed the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Ukraine Jan Pieklo on the events the SBU is taking for crime detection.
We are sure that such actions of aggressor can’t influence to interrelationship between friendly Ukrainian and Polish nations.
